Texas is unlike any other place, and our puro Lone Star #6 is unlike any other cigar. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic with tobaccos grown in the fertile Cibao Valley, the Lone Star is a departure from our other premium cigars.
A medium to full-bodied toro, the Lone Star is smooth from start to finish, delivering a powerhouse of coffee, chocolate and cream flavors. The delicate Dominican-grown Habano Criollo wrapper perfectly envelops long-leaf Dominican Habano tobacco in this cigar we bet Sam Houston would have loved.
Of the two primary classifications of cigars, parejos and figurados, a toro is a parejo, which is the time-honored premium cigar shape. It's is a perfect 'straight-sided' cylinder with an open foot and a rounded, capped head. The traditional standard size for a toro is 5 5/8 by 46 ring gauge, but, as may be expected, Kinky Friedman Cigars' Lone Star #6 toro is a Texas-sized 6 by 54 ring gauge.

"I have said that Texas is a state of mind, but I think it is more than that. It is a mystique closely approximating a religion."
-John Steinbeck
Texas pride is unrivaled and Texans rarely turn down an opportunity to brag about the Lone Star State. Here are a few reasons we think Texas is so great:
- Texans are some of the kindest, most genuine people in the world
- We've got all kinds of people, food, cultures, geography and arts
- Austin, Texas is the "Live Music Capital of the World"
- Rodeo is the official state sport
- DFW airport is bigger than Manhattan
- There are still real cowboys (and Jewboys!) in Texas
- Where else can you get Dublin Dr Pepper?
- It's illegal to put graffiti on someone else's cow
- And of course, Texas is home to Kinky Friedman Cigars
"You may all go to hell and I will go to Texas."
-Davy Crockett
